Dermapen Microneedling
Collagen renewal. Texture refinement. Intelligent skin regeneration.
About Dermapen Microneedling
Dermapen microneedling is an advanced, science-based rejuvenation method that activates the skin’s natural healing intelligence. Using ultra-fine, medical-grade needles, microneedling creates controlled micro-channels in the skin. These channels stimulate fibroblasts, boost collagen and elastin production, and strengthen overall skin structure.
Microneedling effectively treats uneven texture, acne scars, enlarged pores, fine lines, sun damage, pigmentation irregularities and stretch marks. It restores clarity, elasticity and radiance without altering your natural features.
Before You Book
Microneedling delivers its best results when the skin is well-hydrated and balanced. Dehydrated skin may show more redness, slower recovery and reduced collagen response.
Hydration Preparation (1–7 days before)
A hydrating facial or guided home care strengthens the barrier, stabilizes inflammation and supports the skin’s healing response. Clinical studies show that hydrated skin demonstrates better wound healing and improved collagen synthesis.
Consultation
A short consultation is recommended if this is your first microneedling treatment or if you have active concerns such as acne, pigmentation or medication use. This ensures the treatment is safe, personalized and effective.
The Skin Story
With age, stress and environmental exposure, the skin’s renewal cycle slows down. Microneedling reactivates this cycle by stimulating fibroblasts, strengthening collagen networks, improving microcirculation and evening out pigmentation. It functions as a biological reset, reminding the skin how to regenerate efficiently.
Scientific Evidence
Research shows up to a 400% increase in collagen and elastin production four weeks after microneedling. Clinical studies confirm improvement of acne scars after 3–6 sessions, reduction of pigmentation through accelerated epidermal turnover and enhanced product penetration of up to 300–500%. Additional evidence confirms improved elasticity and reduced fine lines after a short course of treatment.
Key Benefits
• smoother refined texture
• reduced acne scars
• more even skin tone
• minimized pores
• softer fine lines
• increased collagen production
• improved absorption of active ingredients
• strengthened skin barrier
Treatment Experience
Every session begins with skin analysis and gentle cleansing, followed by the microneedling procedure using sterile, ultra-fine needles. A soothing mask calms the skin and supports recovery. The treatment ends with barrier-repairing moisturizer and SPF protection.
Protocol and Results
Recommended age: 25+
Course: 3–6 sessions
Maintenance: 2–3 times per year
Duration: 45–60 minutes
Optimal Treatment Intervals
Different skin concerns require different microneedling rhythms. Below is a clear, evidence-based structure that explains how often sessions can be performed for the best results.
Results include refined pores, smoother texture, softened lines, a brighter complexion and a healthier, stronger skin structure.
1. Face — Texture, Pores, Fine Lines
Interval: every 7–14 days
Ideal for:uneven texture
enlarged pores
fine lines
mild post-acne
dullness
reduced firmness
Why this works:
The skin completes its early healing phase in about 7–10 days. Fibroblasts remain active beyond this point, so a new session within this regeneration window improves collagen stimulation and overall results.
2. Deep Acne Scars
Interval: every 4–6 weeks
Why:
Deeper structural work requires a full collagen cycle (approx. 28–42 days). Shorter intervals may interrupt the remodeling phase and reduce collagen quality.
3. Pigmentation / Melasma
Interval: every 10–14 days
Why:
Pigment-sensitive skin needs gentle, controlled stimulation. Too frequent treatments risk inflammation; too infrequent reduces cumulative improvement.
4. Neck & Décolleté
Interval: every 14 days
Why:
This area has thinner, more delicate skin and regenerates more slowly than the face. A slightly longer interval protects the barrier while still providing visible results.
Post-Treatment Essentials
• No makeup for 24 hours
• Avoid sauna, gym and sweating for 48 hours
• Use only gentle skincare for the first days
• Apply SPF 30–50 daily
• Avoid retinol, acids and exfoliants for 5–7 days
Contraindications
Microneedling is not suitable if you have active acne or infection, open wounds, keloid tendency, severe eczema or psoriasis, active chemotherapy or immunosuppression. It may be restricted during pregnancy depending on needle depth.
